Enabling Enterprise

The facilities and business support provided by the Isle of Man Business Incubator (BIC) are managed by Capital Select and supported by our primary sponsor and partner, the Isle of Man Government Department of Economic Development.

Our business incubator provides services and accommodation to early stage ventures on the Isle of Man and to non-national companies looking to establish an Isle of Man base.

The Isle of Man Business Incubator (previously Isle of Man Business and Innovation Centre) is a member of the National Business Incubation Association, UKBI and network partner for the Microsoft Bizspark programme.


We are committed to:

  • Assisting with the Isle of Man Government's strategy to encourage growth and diversification of the economy through the development of existing businesses and the pursuit of new opportunities. The sectors to be supported by incubation activity are mainly E-Business, E-Gaming, Clean-Tech, Aerospace & Manufacturing, ICT, Telecoms and Space.
  • Supporting Entrepreneurial Development and expanding the range of incubation environments on the Isle of Man.
  • Further expanding our business network to create successful enterprise opportunities.


How did we get here?

BIC started as a project developed by Coventry University Enterprises and Isle of Man Government in 2008. Our relationship with Coventry University Enterprises continues to add value for our clients by giving access to resources, locations and contacts in key markets across the globe so they can go global quickly in a supportive environment.
